Burma VJ: Reporting from a closed country

Fact: You can't get into Burma with a video camera because cameras are forbidden in Burma. Even if you go there as a tourist.

Now on the topic.
This documentary is so moving and truly unique.

The events presented here made headlines for a few days in 2007. Burma remains today one of the most isolated countries in the world. Its military dictatorship remains one of the most repressive in the world.

This film is a wake-up call for the world not to forget the on-going tragedy in Burma. You'll witness the crimes against humanity committed there by the military junta and you'll thank God you live in a democratic country where journalism is not considered a crime.

This film is a testimony about the Burmese struggle for freedom and an unforgettable film about human courage.
